New Campaign
Louis Vuitton's Ode to Parisian Panache
* 4 Muses, 4 Tales, One City
written Sarah Arendts
Whispers of style traverse the cobblestones of Paris, as Louis Vuitton reimagines modern femininity in its latest Women’s Fashion campaign.
Four muses, four tales, one city; the fashion narrative unfolds through the eyes of House Ambassadors Deepika Padukone, Hoyeon, Léa Seydoux, and silver screen sensation, Elaine Zhong.
Louis Vuitton’s newly unveiled campaign is more than just couture; it's a curated collision of attitude, adventure, and authenticity. Channeling an avant-garde LE MILE aura, this campaign celebrates independent women carving their own path through the heart of Paris. The capital's iconic cityscape becomes their canvas, painted with individualistic strokes of style, spirit, and sophistication.
Ethan James Green, the visionary behind the lens, captures ethereal moments against emblematic Parisian backdrops. Quentin Saunier’s filmic touch further brings to life the zeitgeist of modern femininity.
Picture this: Hoyeon, poised with her GO-14 bag, leaning against a bicycle on the illustrious Pont Alexandre III. Or visualize Deepika Padukone, standing regally atop the Palais Galliera, the Eiffel Tower elegantly photobombing in the background. Her GO-14, playfully clashing yet blending with the backdrop, becomes a symbol - evoking both the grandeur of Paris’s architectural marvel and the genius of Louis Vuitton’s design.
Nicolas Ghesquière, the mastermind and Artistic Director of Women’s Collections, introduces the GO-14 as a homage to Louis Vuitton's heritage. This iconic piece, inspired by malletage—the exquisite cross-hatched lining of Louis Vuitton trunks—echoes the artistry and craftsmanship synonymous with the brand.

Yet, the fashion tale doesn’t end there. The enchanting Léa Seydoux, behind the wheel, is spotted meandering through the Rue Galliera, her Capucines bag securely by her side. Meanwhile, Elaine Zhong’s pristine white version of this feminine classic becomes her companion amidst the palatial allure of the Palais Galliera courtyard.
The Capucines bag, a piece with history deeply sewn into its threads, is a nod to the maison's legacy. Born from Louis Vuitton’s inaugural store on Rue Neuve-des-Capucines in 1854, its seemingly simplistic design belies a rich tapestry of complexity and craftsmanship.
As the narrative of style evolves, Louis Vuitton remains a timeless testament to luxury, legacy, and the eternal allure of the City of Lights.
